- Is there a free plan?
- Yes — Pay as you go is $0/month and includes 3 free images every month. You only pay ($0.59/image) when you generate more, and you can upgrade to a larger plan anytime.
- How do I get started?
- Install CatalogShot from the Shopify App Store, connect your store, and open any product. CatalogShot will suggest scenes based on your product automatically.
- Which product types work best?
- CatalogShot is optimized for non-apparel physical products: candles, skincare, food & drink, home goods, jewelry & accessories, footwear, wellness, toys, art & prints, and more.
- Does CatalogShot work with apparel?
- It's not designed for apparel or fashion — full garments that need try-on or fit modeling are out of scope. But worn accessories work great: jewelry, earrings, hats, sunglasses, and footwear can be generated on their own or shown on a model (shoes worn on the feet).
- What happens when I activate a photo?
- The generated photo is pushed directly to your Shopify product gallery. The original photo is preserved and the AI photo is added alongside it.
- Can I bulk-generate for my whole catalog?
- Yes — all plans include bulk generation. Queue your entire catalog overnight and review results in the morning.
- What if I don't like a generated photo?
- Just generate another one. You only activate photos you approve — nothing pushes to Shopify without your confirmation.
